This project envisions one of Nepal’s most advanced, eco-friendly, and inclusive building environments, designed to reflect unity in diversity through the use of natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Located in Koteshwor, Kathmandu on a 4,069.9 sq.m site, the building integrates modern technology with traditional arts to create opportunities for differently-abled individuals.

The design includes fully accessible infrastructure such as ramps, elevators, and assistive robotic systems to support independence. It brings together digital craft labs, training centers, maker spaces, exhibition areas, markets, cafés, and residential facilities under one roof—enabling users to learn skills, produce goods, run enterprises, and generate livelihoods.

The architecture features a bamboo-based parametric façade crafted with local artisans, paired with reflective glass to create a sustainable, culturally rooted identity. Interior spaces include bright high-ceiling work areas, calm zones, and lively communal spaces, all connected by a central green courtyard for events and exhibitions.

Environmentally, the building prioritizes low-carbon construction using waste-engineered wood, renewable energy systems, photovoltaic panels, rainwater harvesting, and green landscapes with endemic species. Combining natural materials, smart technology, and inclusive design, the project offers a welcoming, fully accessible, and highly sustainable environment that empowers differently-abled communities.
