IV International Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design

Newtons Design received a Special Mention Award at the Trezzini Awards 2021, one of the world’s respected international competitions in the field of architecture and design. Held annually in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the Golden Trezzini Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in architecture, interior design, urban planning, landscape, and artistic concepts submitted from across the globe.

Our project, “The Bamboo Crest,” was recognized for its creativity, material innovation, and strong conceptual expression. Selected from hundreds of entries submitted from more than 60 countries, this Special Mention stands as an important international achievement in our early architectural journey.

The Golden Trezzini Awards are named after the renowned architect Domenico Trezzini—the creator of the original architectural plan of Saint Petersburg. The competition is judged by a distinguished international panel consisting of leading architects, historians, designers, and museum representatives. Earning recognition from such a prestigious jury highlights the design potential and creative approach that define our work at Newtons Design.
This award has become a significant milestone for our studio, strengthening our identity as an emerging award-winning architecture firm in Nepal. It reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the exploration of local materials such as bamboo in contemporary architectural design. The recognition from Saint Petersburg has inspired us to continue pushing boundaries, elevating Nepali design on international platforms, and contributing meaningfully to the global architectural community.
