Description

Securing the First Runner-up position in “Kaleidoscope 2022–23 – All Nepal Architecture and Interior Design Competition (Heroes of the Future)” stands as one of the most significant highlights of our early architectural career. Organized annually by Asian Paints, Kaleidoscope is recognized as Nepal’s biggest and most influential national competition in the field of architecture and interior design. Every year, it brings together emerging architects, designers, and creative talents from across the country, offering a platform where ideas, innovation, and excellence are celebrated at the highest level.

Asian Paints Nepal has been organizing the Kaleidoscope competition for several years, and over time, it has grown into a respected national benchmark for young professionals and students pursuing careers in architecture and interior design. Winning this award played a major role in strengthening our credibility as young architecture firm in Nepal, giving our firm a competitive edge and reinforcing our commitment to delivering meaningful, high-quality design. Today, Newtons Design is steadily growing as a modern architecture and design studio in Nepal, and this award stands as a strong pillar of our brand identity—positioning us among the upcoming best architecture firms in Nepal.

The 2022–23 edition of the competition was themed “Heroes of the Future,” focusing on identifying young professionals who have the potential to shape the future of Nepal’s built environment. The competition was held in Pokhara, one of Nepal’s most vibrant and naturally beautiful cities. The location, Sajha Fulbari Monument Park near Lakeside, Pokhara, added further significance to the event. Pokhara—known for its landscape, cultural richness, and rapidly growing urban aspirations—provided an inspiring and memorable setting for the competition.

Kaleidoscope is more than a competition; it is a national platform that brings recognition, visibility, and industry connections. It is closely followed by architectural firms, real estate developers, design studios, and academic institutions across the country. Being featured as a national award winner elevates one’s professional reputation and creates opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and long-term growth.

Winning First Runner-up in Nepal’s biggest architectural and interior design competition organized by Asian Paints remains a proud achievement in our career. It reminds us that every step forward matters and that every opportunity is a chance to create something meaningful. This award continues to inspire us to move ahead with greater ambition, discipline, and purpose as we work toward shaping our path in architecture and contributing to Nepal’s broader design and development landscape.

In essence, winning First Runner-up in Nepal’s largest architecture and interior design competition is more than a professional accomplishment—it is a reminder that dedication, creativity, and vision pave the way for progress. This recognition motivates us to keep contributing to the evolution of Nepal’s architecture, to create better spaces, and to develop Newtons Design into one of the leading architecture firms in Nepal in the coming years.
